The Rasterbator

I know this may sound a little dirty, but I love the Rasterbator! It is an online program (you can actually download a version for PCs but I have a Mac so I just do it online) that enlarges a picture of your choosing and turns it into a series of dots in a PDF file. Here is a picture of my face rasterbatorized on one sheet of paper:

You can choose what size you want your image to be and then print it off and hang it up. It is a great apartment decoration because it is super-cheap to make (it cost me $10 to print it off and to buy the poster tape I hung it with) and it looks great! For more examples you can look in the Rasterbator gallery. I decided to make mine personal and used a picture of me and some of my campers in Maine this summer but other people have used pictures they found online of celebrities, cars, flowers, etc. This would be a great rainy day activity. It took me about and hour and a half to rasterbatorize, print, and hang up. (Each rectangle is one sheet of paper)
